Bringing History to Life Through Sustainable Exhibition Print at Ickworth House

Sustainable Exhibition Print at Ickworth House

We were delighted to work with National Trust at Ickworth House on the production of a striking new exhibition display exploring Ickworth’s fascinating connection to Ireland.

Using our high-quality flatbed printing technology, the exhibition boards were produced on recyclable Foamex board — providing a durable, professional finish while supporting more sustainable print solutions. Flatbed printing allows for exceptional colour accuracy, sharp detail and a premium result, making it ideal for museum, heritage and exhibition displays where presentation matters.

The exhibition, now on display inside the beautiful Rotunda at Ickworth House, explores the life and legacy of Frederick Augustus Hervey, the 4th Earl of Bristol and Bishop of Derry — also known as the “Earl-Bishop”. While Hervey’s ancestral home and birthplace was Ickworth here in Suffolk, he also created grand architectural projects in Ireland, including the iconic Mussenden Temple and Downhill House in Northern Ireland, linking both locations through his passion for art, design and architecture.

Visitors to the exhibition can discover the story behind Ickworth’s Irish connections through newly researched displays, historical interpretation and scale models highlighting the Earl-Bishop’s influence on both landscapes and communities. The exhibition is on until 13th July – check it out on the Ickworth facebook page here.

It’s always a privilege to see our print work displayed in such an incredible setting, helping to bring history and storytelling to life for visitors.

If you have an exhibition, heritage, retail or display project coming up, we’d love to help. From sustainable flatbed printing to bespoke signage and display solutions — we love print!
