Delivering Outstanding Quality and Sustainability with the Jetpress 720S: European Football Clubs Brochure and Sustainability Report

Towards the end of last year, Kingfisher Press had the privilege of producing the European Football Club’s Campus Brochure and Sustainability Report — two important publications for an organisation at the heart of European football.

The European Football Clubs (EFC) represents the collective interests of more than 800 professional football clubs across Europe providing a unified voice and supporting the long-term sustainability and development of the game. Producing high-quality printed communications that reflect the professionalism and stature of the organisation was therefore essential.

As a team with more than a few passionate football fans, we were especially pleased to support this project — and equally proud to deliver it using our Fujifilm Jetpress 720S, one of the most advanced digital presses available today.

Why the Jetpress 720S Makes the Difference

The Jetpress 720S is renowned for delivering exceptional colour accuracy, sharpness and consistency, making it the ideal choice for premium publications produced in shorter run lengths. Unlike conventional digital presses, the Jetpress uses advanced inkjet technology to produce results that rival, and often exceed, traditional lithographic print.

For the European Football Clubs publications, this meant:

• Outstanding colour reproduction, ensuring brand consistency throughout
• Crisp text and fine detail, essential for professional reports
• Smooth tonal gradations and natural skin tones
• Consistent quality from the first copy to the last

This level of performance ensures that important communications reflect the quality and credibility of the organisation behind them.

Efficient, Sustainable and Economical Print Production

As a B2-format digital press, the Jetpress 720S offers significant environmental and efficiency advantages. It allows us to produce exact quantities without the need for printing plates or lengthy make-ready processes, reducing material waste and energy consumption.

For organisations producing sustainability-focused communications, such as the EFC Sustainability Report, this approach aligns closely with their environmental values — delivering premium results with reduced impact.

Complete In-House Finishing for Total Quality Control

Both publications were finished entirely in-house at Kingfisher Press, allowing us to maintain complete control over quality at every stage.

The Sustainability Report was PUR bound, providing a strong, durable finish ideal for frequently handled publications. The Campus Brochure was creased and saddle stitched, creating a clean, professional format suited to its purpose.

Both covers were matt laminated, enhancing durability while adding a refined, tactile finish that complements the Jetpress’s exceptional print quality.

By managing printing and finishing under one roof, we ensure consistency, precision, and reliability throughout the entire production process.

The Jetpress 720S: The Ideal Solution for Premium Short-Run Print

The Jetpress 720S is perfectly suited to a wide range of high-quality print applications, including:

• Corporate brochures and reports
• Sustainability and annual reports
• High-end marketing materials
• Short-run packaging and prototypes
• Personalised and versioned print

It provides the flexibility of digital printing combined with the visual impact traditionally associated with litho, making it an ideal solution for modern print requirements.
