Use recycled coated paper to share your news….

10th April 2013 by Kingfisher Press

Kingfisher Press have recently produced a newsletter for locally based charity Little Ouse Headwaters Project.LOHPNewsletter

The charity is dedicated to the restoring and conserving the wildlife and landscape of the Little Ouse valley (on the Norfolk Suffolk border) and promoting its enjoyment. It was started in 2002 by local residents.

As a conservation focused charity LOHP wanted to ensure that any newsletters or print produced had minimum effect on the environment and with this in mind they chose an FSC accredited, recycled and carbon balanced stock.

Having used an uncoated stock for several issues, which gives the natural recycled feel of paper, the last issue was printed on a coated stock.  Nicky Rowbottom from the LOHP comments “”We changed to using recycled coated paper for our Spring 2013 Newsletter because we wanted to do justice to our volunteer photographers’ very high quality pictures, without compromising our conservation values. The satin finish makes them brighter and sharper. When people give their time and skill so generously it’s important for the end result to look as good as it possibly can. We’re very pleased with the result.”
