Printed Postcards for Open

Back in November 2019 we had a small group of Degree students who were studying Graphic Design at Suffolk University and West Suffolk College visit our print factory.

Starting with the Studio and finishing in despatch, the students were shown around all departments to give them a good understanding of the processes involved in print. and see what is possible when they want to bring their designs to life.

More recently we printed a range of leaflets and postcards for West Suffolk College Sixth Form, Abbeygate Sixth Form and One Sixth Form, all part of the Eastern Colleges Group. Along with an Open Day Programme & Map and a 12pp booklet on University Studies at West Suffolk College, we also printed a range of postcards.

The range of 24 different postcards were all printed on 350gsm silk, printed both sides, for students to take away to look up courses with details on how to apply.

The Jetpress

The postcards were all printed on our high definition Jetpress, which is perfect for short run colour print. With little set up time and minimal waste paper, it’s the ideal option when you need fast print in smaller quantities. The colour consistency and accuracy is second to none and it can personalise with text and images on all pages or individual pages to suit.

Litho Print

The maps and booklets, which were in much larger quantities, were printed on our Litho Press. Litho print is more economical and better suited to longer print runs. Booklets and brochures with multiple pages, in this case the 12pp university courses booklet, are better suited to printing on a larger press.
