Kingfisher and the Environment
26th June 2012 by Kingfisher Press
We are currently working towards our ISO14001 accreditation to enhance our environmental credentials and support sustainability.
One of our targets is to increase the use of more environmentally friendly products, such as recycled paper, biodegradable laminating films and alternative decorative finishes – such as drip-off coating and aqueous seals.
We would like to provide clients with an online resource portal so that any relevant information is easy to access regarding materials and processes.
As part of our commitment in implementing an environmental management system (EMS) we will be offering clients recycled and carbon balanced papers along with recommendations on seals and finishes that are more naturally environmentally friendly.
The office is now filled with a range of ‘daleks’ as we call them to ensure we recycle ALL our rubbish from the office. We have various bins for plastic, string, paper, white paper, inks, oils and rags.
Do you or your clients have any special requirements regarding environmental print? Please do get in touch.
