World Land Trust has been awarded a Gold Medal for its "Saving the Atlantic Rainforest" exhibit in the Continuous Learning section at the 2010 RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The exhibit was also awarded "Best in Section".
Kingfisher would like to congratulate the World Land Trust on their award at the Chelsea Flower show and were very pleased to lend their support by sponsoring the print of their ‘Saving the Atlantic Rain Forest’ Booklet for the show. Kingfisher Press recently undertook their biggest ever single order (worth in excess of £100,000) for a division of Bayer. The publication was printed entirely on Polyart supplied by Robert Horne Paper which, as a synthetic material, has a reputation for being difficult to print. With previous experience in dealing with this tricky material, Kingfisher had no hesitation in taking on the job.
Jon Doidge MD who printed the job, said "Our knowledge of this product allowed us to be confident in taking on this massive project. As with any job, it's knowing what works best."
Polyart is popular with pharmaceutical companies as it allows representatives out in the field to have a library of information at their finger tips without the need for internet access and the durability of the material means it does not suffer the fate of most printed books with damp and dirty conditions.
Kingfisher have successfully printed and distributed a very prestigious job which had to be collated and dispatched to Formula 1 venues around the world.

Kingfisher is expert in handling difficult and demanding projects which can involve printing and collating personalised packs of print to be dispatched to the relevant addresses. 'We sometimes have to collate multiple personalised items and send off up to 300 individual parcels at any one time” comments Paul, MD at Kingfisher. "These projects take co-ordination and organisation and often have very tight deadlines but we always get it right and are confident in our ability to manage and complete these demanding jobs"
